Giving up control

This year, I’m giving up control over With Content 👐🏼

Have you noticed? With many of life’s important things, there comes a time when giving up control becomes necessary for continued growth.

A child needs to have his or her own space to explore and figure out their path in life.

A spouse needs to have his or her freedom to pursue their own passions and interests.

And an employee needs to have enough autonomy to fully realise his or her strengths and employ them fully for the benefit of the company.

Continuing to insist on having complete control over your child, spouse, or company will almost certainly stifle their growth, or even cause regression.

That’s why, at this year’s company retreat in Hanoi, I handed over the reins to all our team members by introducing our 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗻𝗲 policy.

💡 The idea is that if everyone takes ownership of parts of With Content, the company as a whole will be greater.

With the appointment of key leaders in 2023, we’ve already seen leaps in our performance. Our revenue, for instance, increased by over 55% 📈

Now, we’re ready to take it to the next level.

And if our annual planning sessions during the retreat are any indication, we’re in for quite a year ahead 🔥
